The only way you could (legally) copy Vista is by Creating a recovery CD on your laptop computer.. If you're not familiar with what a recovery CD is, it's a back up of your initial software and opperating system that came with your laptop when you first purchased it. You're laptop has the option to make one if you go to My Computer and look at the "Recovery", usually it's the D: drive. Â Â Remember to back up ALL important documents on CD's or and external hardrive or a memory stick. Â Steps: Disconnect all peripherals from the PC, except the keyboard and mouse. Click Start on the taskbar. Choose All Programs . Find your Toshiba recovery CD options Click pc system recovery . A recovery box appears asking Do you really want to start PC System Recovery? Click Yes to continue the recovery process. Follow the onscreen instructions. Complete the computer startup and finish the registration process. Then reconnect all peripherals.

As far as online help goes: this is the best way to get it: on our forums. Technicians and Salespeople are always here so you can get an answer pretty fast. Phone support will always be offered by Toshiba or if it's a problem not covered by toshiba's warranty you can come see a technician in person at one of the stores.  Also, if you have a Product Service Plan you can get your hardware serviced by stopping by one of our stores.  I hope that answers your question :)  Â

Well Said, and dont forget (if applicable in your area) the Telus, Highspeed enhanced offer! If you register for it, you get $400 dollars of any laptop or desktop you choose. Why not use only a fraction of that saved $400 on a protection plan, so that you can dont have to worry about paying those high repair costs for laptops. Keep in mind that a little bit now can make a big difference in the future.

Most Laptops come with Windows Vista Premium (although others come with Basic or Business), and most laptops often come with free trails of software like Office 2007 or Norton Anti-Virus.
