Bank of America: No Fee Mortgage Plus ?
Back in 2007 I remember mortgage companies were losing A LOT of business due to Bank of America and their streamlined mortgage with virtually no fees. Has anyone used this program to fund their loan? From: http://www.thetruthaboutmortgage.com/bank-of-america-no-fee-mortgage/ "The program effectively eliminates out-of-pocket closing costs that a typical mortgage carries such as application, appraisal, underwriting, doc drawing, and title and escrow fees. It also guarantees closing within 25 days or the first mortgage payment is waived. And any consumer approved for a mortgage who chooses to close with another bank or lender will be paid $250. " There is a simple answer provided here: http://www.mtgprofessor.com/A%20-%20Type%20of%20Loan%20Provider/no_fee_mortgage_plus_is_bank_of_america_a_white_knight.htm BUT -- I wanted to consult the forums for first hand experience! Anyone?

Hello All, I received an "accept" through Bank of America's automated underwriting system and then they ordered an appraisal and sent my file to the underwriters. I'm Nervous---what are the chances that my loan can be denied?

Bank of America has no goodwill
Looking for assistance. I have one 30 day late with bank of America on a mortgage in July 2009 that I can't seem to get them to remove. its a mortgage I have had for 5 years and always made every payment on time before July 2009 and since august 2009. I believe I mailed that check like I had all of the other ones but they said they didn't get it. I received a call in the first few days of gag 2009 and they said it wasn't received. I had already mailed gag 2009 and by the time I checked with my bank the next day to see if the July check cleared they had august and July was reported late. I have continually asked nicely for some good will from bank of America and then back home loans and have received none. it has actually gotten worse as experience shows it as late in July and transition shows it late in august which makes it look like 2 30 day lattes. aquifer doesn't show it as late which makes it even more confusing. I have no other items reported as late on my credit reports so I don't understand why bank of America is so adamant to keep showing it as late. its almost like its personal to them. is there something I am missing when I talk or write to them? my credit scores are 680-720 and I can't get a mortgage or a credit card due to the 30 day late. any assistance would be appreciated

Refinancing First and Second
I have a first mortgage with Bank of America with a balance of $148,000. I have a HELOC with Wells Fargo with a balance of $20,000. I would like to refinance into one loan. I believe my home is worth $170,000. My FICO score is 634. Bank of America stated that they needed 80% LTV and couldn't help me. A Wells Fargo rep pulled my credit report and took this information. He told me he thought he could give me a new loan at 5.5% This seems too good to be true. Could I really get essentially a 100% LTV mortgage at that interest rate with such a low credit score? I am currently going through a trial mod with Bank of America through Making Homes Affordable. Not sure if that factors in at all. Thanks for any advice.
