Looking for a good laptop
Hello, My 4 year old laptop appears to be falling apart so I am looking to buy a good laptop that will last some period of time. It appears I am a litle rough of laptops as out of the 2 I have owned, both have cracked from the left hinge all the way to the side of the screen case seam. I have read it might be due to excessive heat from the monitor. It doesn't need to be a high performance gaming system, but I am looking to possibly install some developer software (asp.net - free version) for some personal hobby use. I am not a huge fan of Apple so not wanting one. I have had a Toshiba and now an Acer, looking for something where screws, hinges don't fall apart and where fans are not sounding like my system is going to go up in smoke after 20 minutes of use.

There is seldom any clear-cut "best brand" because laptops are very fragile and complicated machines, and every single model from every single brand has a chance of failing.

Reviews say it's not, and Apple does not list Windows under the system requirements , that usually means it won't work with it. So I don't think so, sorry.
