I have a Sony pentium 4, Microsoft XP with 248mb of Ram….

I have a Sony pentium 4, Microsoft XP with 248mb of Ram. It is very slow even when I cleaned up the files. Sony tells me that I can only go to 1gb??? If I do install what happens to the files in the old Ram that I swap out??

has anyone had success with:     " According to Microsoft's End User License Agreement , the end user can return Windows for a refund by refusing the terms of the license: [ 13 ] By using the software, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the software. Instead, contact the manufacturer or installer to determine their return policy for a refund or credit. However, many vendors try to avoid refunding the unused copy of Windows by claiming that the customer must return the computer along with the operating system in order to get a refund, despite this being a violation of consumer protection law in many countries.[ citation needed ] Acer has a policy of charging for the provision of the refund such that the balance received by the customer is as low as €30. [ 14 ] In other cases, vendors were trying to enforce non-disclosure agreements on the customers who requested refunds. Re: can you use microsoft word on a netbook?

Certainly. As long as the computer is running Windows XP, Vista, or 7, Microsoft Word (and all Microsoft Office applications) will run. A netbook may need more time to load the software or perform functions in the software, since it typically has much less processing power than a full-featured laptop or desktop, but it will definitely work. Some features of older features of Microsoft Word (like those before Office 2000) may not work on the newer systems, but the basic functions should work.   Thanks for the question!

I can confirm that all Norton products are only good for one year.
